"Having worn and loved a Size 20 dress from this company, I lost 50 pounds, so ordered a size 18 for my daughter's wedding. The dress was incredibly tight through the bodice and the jacket sleeves were unwearably tight. Yet, the dress was too long. The dress does not come in a larger size, so I removed the back darts and let out as much as possible through the bodice, making the dress just a little snug. The jacket sleeves needed at least another 2 inches in width, so I embroidered on some matching tulle and made a piece to add in, making the sleeves wearable, but snug. I took the length up by sewing a tuck around the skirt at the waist; this was hidden by the bodice. I did not hem from the bottom because it is a circular hem and difficult to hem evenly. The fabric of the skirt is very soft; the lace not so much. The skirt is rather voluminous, so I spent a lot of time stepping on the dress when getting up from a sitting position. The dress is very figure flattering and is a nice mix between navy and gray."
